Our expedition's main purpose is to visit a seal rookery and watch the seal cubs. The expedition timing has been decided upon on the basis of many years of experience gives maximum guarantee that the expedition participants can watch the seals successfully.

At our customers' request and in cases when a full group is to be completed, we can shift the scheduled starting date of the expedition to another date within the period from February 27 to March 5. However, this will increase the risk that the seals' breeding ground will be situated farther away from the location at which the participants of the expedition are expected to stay overnight.

Besides our primary objective, i.e. visiting the location at which the seals deliver their cubs, we shall visit St. Petersburg, one of Russia's and Europe's northern gems; call on the city of Arkhangelsk, the capital of Russian Pomors (the White Sea coast dwellers); take a look at the outdoor museum in Maliye Karely in which architectural masterpieces of the Russian North are collected; visit the renowned Solovetskiy Monastery known all over the world owing to its amazingly tragic history; and make a flight to a reindeer breeders' nomadic camp. And, most remarkably, you'll be able to spend two days in the real Pomor houses, stay with the families of the Pomors (the White Sea coast dwellers), and get to know their present-day way of life in which its ancient traditions are still preserved.

So if you like nature and travelling, if you have dreamed of seeing the North with your own eyes (and not on a TV screen), of experiencing the severity of life in the North, you won't regret having departed on an expedition with us.

As it has always been wiht our Arctic programmes, we use Arctic aviation which has vast experience of flight operations under severe Arctic conditions. Mi-8 helicopters will be used as a reliable aid in landing our groups on the ice-frozen surface of the White Sea.

Safety of participants is the basic pre-requisite for all our expeditions, and our compliance with this provision is ensured by the experience of work under the North Pole region conditions.

We invite individuals who care for environment and environmental protection, as well as journalists, correspondents, all those intested in the projects, and of course, parachutists, to join us in our expedition. If desired, we shall have a chance to do parachute jumping in a Pomor village at the White Sea coast.
